Divider- Cleaner,
Safer, Easier

Problem Statement
Malaysia acknowledges that one of biggest problems is waste management. The nation produces 38,000 tones of waste per day, according to a statement made by Minister of Housing and Local Government Zuraida Kamaruddin last year. Only 24% of that amount is separated and recycled, and 76% ends up in landlls. In the main, people are facing a poor and expensive infrastructure, resulting in lack of recycling bins, and the impact of meaningful recycling that ordinary bins lack.

Design Concept
A recycling bin that will encourage and sort through individual boxes to hold each house’s daily wet and dry waste. Combination recycling bins are designed to reduce the cost of mass manufacturing, reduce the space used for bins, reduce the amount of waste collected and improve waste management in different ways.

Mocha- Biodegradable, Clean, Natural

Problem Statement
Malaysia, like many other countries, faces a serious waste management problem, including discarded furniture. The lack of proper disposal and recycling facilities, coupled with the growth in consumption rates and urbanisation, has resulted in an alarming amount of furniture waste being generated on a daily basis.

Design Concept
Designing furniture from waste coffee grounds, which are very easy to obtain and biodegradable, can reduce the cost of raw materials and the impact on the environment. The furniture is also designed to be easy to transport and assemble, thus reducing the cost of the furniture. The combination of wood and natural mixed materials is suitable for those looking for a natural and modern furniture design.
